Abstract
This study attempted to shed some light on building social support systems for families in crisis, suffering with traumatic events such as child sexual abuse, abduction, and homicide. These adverse experiences have been extensively studied, most particularly, the tremendous crisis that child crime victims and their families faced. The legal and institutional efforts have been burgeoning yet there has been an substantial work required to meet the needs of these families. This study conducted in-depth interviews with practitioners working for crime victims and case studies of two other countries. Based on the findings, suggestions were provided how to build social support systems for these families.
